Maybe it is the sandy Jersey soil. Maybe it is the temperate climate. Maybe it is the experience that the winemaker brought with him from his native Europe. Most likely it's a combination of everything that has kept Balic Winery producing high-quality wines for more than 40 years.

With 57 acres of vineyards, Balic Winery produces 27 different kinds of wines -- reds, whites, berry, dry and demi-sec wines. And they are busy little winemakers—Balic produces between, 3,000 and 5,000 cases a year.

After undergoing renovations to the buildings at the winery, they are ready to welcome guests – that would be you – for tours. You’ll get a chance to see some of the vineyard and then follow the winemaker into the wine making cellars. An admitted wine fanatic, his enthusiasm is contagious and when it isn’t harvest season, he will happily take as much time as you want for your tour.
